Job Description:

Join an exciting, developing team! We are a TSSA-certified, non-union HVAC contractor based in Brampton, specializing in refrigeration piping for commercial (and some residential) installations. Our company is built on clear core values that guide our work, foster strong relationships, and ensure success. As we look to expand our team, we’re seeking a professional who is eager to contribute to our ongoing growth and success.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HVAC Estimator to take their career to the next level. You will join our core estimating team and play a key role in managing estimating projects, working with engineers and contractors, and helping drive our continued success. We’re looking for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead on estimating, ensuring everything runs smoothly, accurately, and on time while consistently exceeding client expectations.
  • Carefully review project details to make sure quotes are thorough, accurate, and submitted within the required timelines.
  • Dive into project specs—like RFPs, drawings, and addendums—to fully understand the scope and create precise piping schematics.
  • Stay in touch with contractors to ensure clear and effective communication throughout the bidding process.
  • Work closely with the Lead Engineer (Estimating Manager) and other estimators, collaborating to keep the estimating process efficient and organized.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience estimating construction projects, especially in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, allowing you to create accurate piping designs.
  • Sharp analytical skills and an eye for detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with mechanical selection software (like Bluebeam or PDF Exchanger) is a plus.
  • Familiar with standard construction industry practices, processes, and materials.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Motivated, a quick learner, and able to stay organized while handling various tasks.
Why Join Us?
  • We offer a competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications.
  • Full benefits package, including dental and vision care.
  • Paid time off and sick days to keep you refreshed.
  • Fun company events that help build an inclusive, engaging workplace culture.
  • Convenient on-site parking and a flexible hybrid work schedule.
  • A company culture that values respect, collaboration, and personal growth.

We look forward to hearing from qualified candidates who are ready to make an impact and help us build something great in 2025!

{AirCom is a fast-growing company with great people who support your growth. {As a mechanical engineer with an MBA, I am grateful to have celebrated my 2nd anniversary at AirCom marked this January, and I love it! Born in El Salvador, I was blessed to have been awarded a scholarship to pursue and further my studies for my B.S in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Taiwan. The experience opened many opportunities that eventually led me to Canada for almost four years. I speak fluent Spanish, English, and Mandarin, and I understand a bit of French and Italian. I am proud to be an engineer in the HVAC sector alongside a great supportive and hardworking team! - Ana, Lead Engineer
{Before I started working at AirCom, I was a mechanical engineering graduate working retail during the height of the pandemic. As time passed and with no job offer secured, I became more worried that my degree was getting stale. In the summer of 2021, I was offered a role as a Junior Estimator, where I was tasked to mark drawings. As I progressed, I was given many opportunities to study the different roles in the estimating department. I am now a junior estimator in charge of finalizing take-off for RFQs / Bids. AirCom employs and has given people from all walks of life the opportunity to prove themselves. Even if you possess an unconventional career path, if you are a driven individual with ambitions, do not be afraid to give AirCom a shot! - Rangsiya, Junior Estimator
{I’ve been at Aircom for about four years now. I’ve gone from a junior helper to a fully licensed 313A mechanic in these four years. I’ve enjoyed learning from some very talented mechanics, which accelerated my learning process. Working at Aircom is a great experience and is now like a second family to me. - Jason, Technician
